My name is Alun Wyn Ap Christi-Evans. I am an artist who lives in the shadow of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. I am influenced by the Celtic legends as well as the arts, craft and art-deco movements.

I generally work in natural materials, favouring wood and stone. I have worked with youth groups, prison inmates and people with mental health issues and people with drink and drug difficulties. I have also worked with the physically less-able as well as more mainline social groups. I lived in Australia for some years where I worked with Aboriginal groups which I found extremely interesting. As well as art I also make a range of indoor and outdoor furniture using the materials mentioned earlier.

I feel that the opportunity to learn how to express oneself through art has a profound influence to enrich and has a positive effect on all aspects of life. I have exhibited my work to a wide audience and welcome enquiries regarding commissioned work as well as teaching groups.
